The department of chemistry in Chinmaya Vidyalaya inspires the students to comprehend the nature of physical and biological systems and the process by which they change. The knowledge in chemistry helps them to make choice on the development of technologies and controls to be placed on them.

The department has seven well qualified teachers and a well experienced lab assistant. The school has a well equipped chemistry lab which can accommodate 30 students at a time.

We have an well equipped biology lab with microscopes, dissection trays and articulated skeleton inside glassbox.The lab can be proud of housing several unique specimen of plants and animals.
The BioDept was headed by Mr C.P Unnikrishnan from the starting of the institution till 2008.The Bio Dept at present consists of the following teachers:-

PHYSICS – The knowledge branch indispensable in the pursuit of the amazing secret of this universe, its various mind blowing phenomena, the laws defining them and ----- the list is endless.
The physics department in this vidyalaya has always strived for delivering the spirit of physics to the generations of students. It believes in inculcating a scientific attitude and aptitude among students. Through a planned , child centered and activity packed methodology, the faculty ensures that the students develop scientific skills.
The department possesses a fully equipped laboratory catering from 9 to plus 2 students and a junior lab meant for primary and middle schools. The activities in the lab are organized so as to give an opportunity to nurture experimental skills among students. “Team Spirit” is also encouraged in the labs.
