• 5 point grading system for I to VII and 7 point
  grading system for the rest to be implemented.


• Continuous and comprehensive evaluation to be
  continued till class VII.


• Introduction of education in life skills to raise
  self-awareness and entrepreneurial spirit.


• Introduced the initiatives that would make a
  difference.


• Teaching of Science should be through ‘Hands on
  Experiments’. CBSE has published books to help learning by doing.


• Co-curricular activities are equally important
  as curricular.


• Concession given to physically challenged candidates.


• Student support activities such as
  Olympiads,Sakshat(teleconferencing, once a fortnight)nurturing creativity in
  students is to be conducted.


• CBSE has an examination support system with sample
  question papers and marking schemes.
